Stay away from cellular sales... Horrible customer service
Store located in New Berlin, WI sold a package to me but would not honor the package sold to me when I went to pick up my phone. They even called the salesman that sold me the package and confirmed with him that is what he sold me.
But they still would not honor it... completely lied to me to get the sale on two phones, a watch, and home internet.
- Lie just to get the sale
Preferred solution: honor deal that was sold to me and deal that was confirmed sold to me by the salesman
What seems like unfixable billing errors
When setting up my account made errors and practice is errors cannot be fixed for life service with verizon
- Reps make tons of errors and are mgr almost no help
Preferred solution: Fix my account
King of bait and switch at cellular sales in Spring Hill, Tn.
- - Promos led me to buy 2 watches with a $500 promo; I only got $150 each.
- - Three watches activated; one charged twice; no help; deal elsewhere.
Ive been with Verizon for 21 years. Started out with three lines now have six.
He explained to me all of the promotions going on, which made me consider getting new phones and new watches. The watches were $500 promo off of a $500 watch. I sign the paperwork for 2 watches, later found out that there had been a mistake in the programming and I only got $150 for each watch. They acknowledged the mistake and said they could correct t it with one phone call.
After a month, Ive still not gotten the correct promo amount and no more cooperation. Upon contacting customer er service, I find 3 watches were on my account and all had been activated.
One had 2 activation charges. Still no help.
Deal somewhere else.

Verified Reviewer |Upgraded phone problems
- - We were pitched a Verizon upgrade deal; three upgrades succeeded.
- - The fourth upgrade was offered as an even trade, later requiring a $200 down payment.
We were pulled into an 'upgrade your plan and phones' pitch for Verizon at a local home show. Three of our upgrades went through with minimal issues.
The fourth phone upgrade was offered as an even trade (only paying for the taxes and upgrade fee), but it had to be ordered for pick-up at the local Cellular Sales office since they did not have any more of the phones available at the show. We got to the store, and no phone was on order, but they could put one on order for pickup in two days for the same deal. Two days later, the phone was available, but the deal changed to having to pay an extra $200 'down payment'.
We went through three levels of Cellular Sales personnel with a final 'we cannot honor the earlier deal'. It all appeared to be a bait and switch.
- Brink-n-mortar stores to talk with personnel
- Poor customer service
Preferred solution: Full refund
User's recommendation: If you upgrade at a remote site (like a home show), complete the deal there. The Cellular Sales teams at the different locations are not consistent and will not honor deals offered outside of their store.

- - We were told bills would drop and phones would be free.
- - After 4 cycles we still pay a $22 device fee plus $19 per phone and plan to report it.
Didn't know this is not Verizon! Was told that our monthly bill would be reduced and that we would not have to pay for our new phones and that the protection plan would go down from $17 to $10 a month.
Needed to wait for 2 billing cycles.
We keep calling and now it's 4 billing cycles and we are still paying the $22 device fee plus now $19 for the protection plan for each phone. Going to call the Verizon Fraud number to report this company!
- Fraudulent promises
Preferred solution: Get credit for device payments and protection plan paid every month since February. And a reduced monthly bill as promised with no device payment and a protection plan of $10.
User's recommendation: Stay Away and only go to a Real Verizon store

- - Reviewer with 40 years in support calls it the worst phone vendor.
- - They were ripped off for over $200.
- - Customer service failed to resolve the issue.
Worst phone related company I have ever encountered. I was in Technical Support for over 40 years and had plenty of experience dealing with vendors.
Based on my extended experience, this is the worst phone vendor ever.
I was ripped off for over $200. I tried going through their Customer(Not) Service for resolution to no avail.
- No pros
- Failed to transfer all of my data
- Do not tell the truth
- Take advantage of people
User's recommendation: STAY AWAY from Cellular Sales.
Misleading information.
- - Stopped at a Cellular booth; thought it was Verizon.
- - Promised two phones with unlimited talk/text and same payment; paperwork later didn’t match.
Stop by a Cellular sales booth (thought it was a Verizon booth by their display but turns out they are a general sales company, Verizon should drop them). Was interested in getting a new phone, was told I could get two new phones, upgrade to unlimited talk and text and I would pay the price of the phones and my monthly payment would remain the same.
No paper work till they had already transferred phone data.
Paper work did not match verbal agreement. Rep said don't worry Berizon

Verified Reviewer |Sales person lied, was no deal or promo, we paid full amount
- - A sales rep promised a promo for a new line and my son's iPhone.
- - We were billed $910 for husband's phone and $250 for my son; we’re leaving Verizon.
A year ago I went in to purchase my husband a phone. The sales person said if we were getting another phone line, we were eligible for a promo for that and the amount to upgrade my sons iphone.
The total for him to get a new iphone would be $150 because of the new line, promo they had and his trade in. My husband got a phone for $250, purchased this iphone for my son because of the deal and we left. Months later, we just checked our phone bill and we always knew we were paying for the phones, but a year later we checked and he had our husband's phone at $910 (which the new sales person said is wrong, the salesperson switched it) and my son's iphone was $250. We did NOT get a deal.
If that was the case we would have only gotten my husband a phone. My son was fine with his phone at the time. We only got it because of the deal. We were advised the salesperson was dismissed by the company because we were 'not the only one's that had this happen to' and since then they established a policy to get 'verbal promises' in writing.
The manager did not help, the corporate office did not help. I even called at home and they wouldn't help. The paperwork is messed up and even the sales person said something was up with it. They knew they had someone not being honest with clients and got rid of him, but; when we return...they won't do right by us.
We're leaving Verizon and never returning. Checking phone companies now and we've been with them for decades.

- - They lied about what I owed on a trial hotspot after I returned it on time, a late bill followed, and they still ignore my calls.
Do not do business here. They lied about what I owed on a trial for hotspot after I turned it back in at the appointed time.
When I got a late bill months later, corporate Verizon told me it was the store's job to take care of it.
I called numerous times and each time they said they would take care of it and would call me back. Now they are completely ignoring me and not calling me back.

- - Commission-based staff sold a new phone, iPad, accessories, and insurance to my grandma.
This company is *** They pretend to be Verizon Wireless, but they are not. They just have people there working for commission only that why they jump at u as soon as u walk in.

Verified ReviewerGo to a real Verizon. Not a third party company.
I have attempted to contact HR and was unsuccessful as the phone continued to run all day. I left a voicemail as well. I attempted to contact the Cellular Sales Facebook page with no success. I sent them three messages requesting direction as to who to file a complaint with and how. They read my messages and completely ignored me which doesn't make Cellular Sales look good. There should have been a supervisor or a manager who should have been able to give me some kind of information.
The complaint is regarding an ex fiancé, Dustin Cleary who was officially hired on October 01, 2019. About 2 weeks ago, my son who is 6 years old told me that Dustin Cleary told my 6 year son to *** in a cup to help him pass a "very important test". My 6 year old son told me that Dustin got upset because my son accidently peed on the floor the first time, the second time, my son didn't *** enough and the third time he got hungry so Dustin bought McDonalds to *** for him. I was at work when this happened.
One day, Dustin Cleary brought marijuana home and I asked him where he got it from. His response was everyone at work smokes and sells including the managers, supervisors and corporate. He explained that once you pass the drug test and get hired, you dont get drug tested again. If there was a drug test coming, the supervisors would let all the employees ahead of time so the employees have enough time to get clean since they smoke themselves.
One day, I went to Dustins work early to give him something and I saw all the employees huddled together outside of the building smoking out of a THC vape pen. Dustin explained that with the THC pen, it doesnt make your clothes smell.
What I am asking is this matter be investigated and taken seriously. I dont agree with professionals selling marijuana to other employees. Especially to an employee that cant even pass a drug test for the job that he has now because of my 6 year old son that he manipulated. Until, this matter is resolved, I will continue to draw attention the employees that Cellular Sales has hired. You have been informed of this issue and I would like to see something done about this issue.
