Misleading And High Priced

Worst phone related company I have ever encountered. I was in Technical Support for over 40 years and had plenty of experience dealing with vendors. Based on my extended experience, this is the worst phone vendor ever. I was ripped off for over $200. I tried going through their Customer(Not) Service for resolution to no avail.

Stop by a Cellular sales booth (thought it was a Verizon booth by their display but turns out they are a general sales company, Verizon should drop them). Was interested in getting a new phone, was told I could get two new phones, upgrade to unlimited talk and text and I would pay the price of the phones and my monthly payment would remain the same. No paper work till they had already transferred phone data. Paper work did not match verbal agreement. Rep said don't worry Berizon

Sales person lied, was no deal or promo, we paid full amount

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
A year ago I went in to purchase my husband a phone. The sales person said if we were getting another phone line, we were eligible for a promo for that and the amount to upgrade my sons iphone. The total for him to get a new iphone would be $150 because of the new line, promo they had and his trade in. My husband got a phone for $250, purchased this iphone for my son because of the deal and we left. Months later, we just checked our phone bill and we always knew we were paying for the phones, but a year later we checked and he had our husband's phone at $910 (which the new sales person said is wrong, the salesperson switched it) and my son's iphone was $250. We did NOT get a deal. If that was the case we would have only gotten my husband a phone. My son was fine with his phone at the time. We only got it because of the deal. We were advised the salesperson was dismissed by the company because we were 'not the only one's that had this happen to' and since then they established a policy to get 'verbal promises' in writing. The manager did not help, the corporate office did not help. I even called at home and they wouldn't help. The paperwork is messed up and even the sales person said something was up with it. They knew they had someone not being honest with clients and got rid of him, but; when we return...they won't do right by us. We're leaving Verizon and never returning. Checking phone companies now and we've been with them for decades.

Dishonest

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Do not do business here. They lied about what I owed on a trial for hotspot after I turned it back in at the appointed time. When I got a late bill months later, corporate Verizon told me it was the store's job to take care of it. I called numerous times and each time they said they would take care of it and would call me back. Now they are completely ignoring me and not calling me back.

I have attempted to contact HR and was unsuccessful as the phone continued to run all day. I left a voicemail as well. I attempted to contact the Cellular Sales Facebook page with no success. I sent them three messages requesting direction as to who to file a complaint with and how. They read my messages and completely ignored me which doesn't make Cellular Sales look good. There should have been a supervisor or a manager who should have been able to give me some kind of information. The complaint is regarding an ex fiancé, Dustin Cleary who was officially hired on October 01, 2019. About 2 weeks ago, my son who is 6 years old told me that Dustin Cleary told my 6 year son to *** in a cup to help him pass a "very important test". My 6 year old son told me that Dustin got upset because my son accidently peed on the floor the first time, the second time, my son didn't *** enough and the third time he got hungry so Dustin bought McDonalds to *** for him. I was at work when this happened. One day, Dustin Cleary brought marijuana home and I asked him where he got it from. His response was everyone at work smokes and sells including the managers, supervisors and corporate. He explained that once you pass the drug test and get hired, you dont get drug tested again. If there was a drug test coming, the supervisors would let all the employees ahead of time so the employees have enough time to get clean since they smoke themselves. One day, I went to Dustins work early to give him something and I saw all the employees huddled together outside of the building smoking out of a THC vape pen. Dustin explained that with the THC pen, it doesnt make your clothes smell. What I am asking is this matter be investigated and taken seriously. I dont agree with professionals selling marijuana to other employees. Especially to an employee that cant even pass a drug test for the job that he has now because of my 6 year old son that he manipulated. Until, this matter is resolved, I will continue to draw attention the employees that Cellular Sales has hired. You have been informed of this issue and I would like to see something done about this issue.

Stay away from Cellular Sales owned Verizon store because they work different then corporate stores. They will rip you off and you can not do anything about it because they have their own rules which are different from real stores.

Straight up liar

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
We were at a fair and these guys are from TN. We gave the wheel a spin for “customer appreciation”. I normally ignore and don’t do this sort of thing but hey why not. Getting a “free” tablet was my deal. I asked several times so what’s the catch. Bc lets face it. There’s alwaysss a catch. No catch. Just pay the taxes and it’s yours. There will be an activation fee but you will get it back in 3 months. Ok. So we are paying NO MONEY for this other than what you just stayed? Correct! So imagine our surprise when we see a few days later a 10.41 charge for the next 12 months. Wait. What. He said NO MONEY. So we get out the paperwork and realize #5. Number 5 says we realize that this is part of a 2 year contract. Now this was never brought to our attention. When we signed he specifically restated all that he had already verbally restated so we just signed. Our stupid mistake there. This company straight up lies to get business.

Went to Cellular Sales in Taylor Texas. I was thinking about leaving AT&T for poor service. I was offered 300 for migrating two phones to Verizon. Never got the 300 or credit and still waiting on the office in Tennessee to make a ruling. I have had others migrate to Verizon, but will NOT in the future. Poor, poor poor service!

Dissapointed with our experience with CelluarSales

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
We went to CellularSales to purchase a new phone for my husband. Our sales representative, Sam, offered us $300 for a sales promotion. He did not say the $300 would be prorated over the next two years. Sam also said he would give us an additional $100 sales promotion, but later told us he misspoke, and we were not eligible for the $100 promotion. When we decided to walk away from the purchase, Sam said he would honor the $100 deal. To us, this felt like a case of bait and switch. Sam did take time to explain the use of the new phone to my husband, and he worked with me to address several questions I had concerning my phone.

Con artists

On May 27, 2019, I visited the Kingsland Georgia store in order to purchase one new phone. Ive been a verizon customer for several and have always trusted the verizon stores. This particular store is a cellular sales store that is affliated with verizon, but it basically only sales their products. So, I advised Tiffany Cox that I needed a phone to replace one that had been lost. She says the store is having a promotion that will pay off the remaining balance of both of the phones on my verizon account. I think "hey this sounds to good to be true, but lets give this a chance." Believe me it was to good to be true. So I upgrade my phones without her ever mentioning an early upgrade fee. Then she says she can sell me 2 tablets for $1.00. She says the fee each month for the tablets will only be 10 bucks per line. Totally untrue! I contact verizon...you guessed it...its not 10 a month its actually $20.00 per month per line for 2 years. It gets better. I am told by verizon customer service that I am going to end up paying a grand for these 2 tablets. They tell me to go to the store and return them. So I go back to the same store I purchased them at. They wouldnt take them back because I didnt have the box. They tell me their policy states that I must have the box. Here is the best part. Tiffany forged my name on the agreement. Just wrote a straight line in the box on the customer agreement form. And I never recieved a copy of my phone agreement. So there i was mad because I drove over 20 minutes to this store and they were refusing to take back these tablets. I explain to the sales man that she forged my name and he just kinda chuckles and says, "well mam her signing something and your drive time here has nothing to do with anything." It had everything to do with everything. Do not go to this store. Dont think about it or even consider wasting your time because they will also try to take your money and sale you false promises. I worked everything out with verizon using the customer service phone number. This store..cellular sales in kingsland..did nothing but bs me from the time i walked in the door. Their sales people are unprofessional and not trustworthy.

Cheated, false information!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I was sold a sim card, data plan and was charged installation fees for a plan I was not able to use! I wanted to be able to use my tablet on a trip to Puerto Rico which is part of the USA and in the Verizon network. I was assured that it would be fine and that's all I would need. Upon arrival I turned on my tablet and it did not work! I called tech support and after 3 hours the problem could not be resolved. I decided to call the sales person and explained what happens, she responds by saying that if I want my tablet to work I need to purchase an extra global plan for $10. per day. I asked her why didnt she mention the global plan when she selling me the service. If I had known that I would have never purchased anything to begin with. The sales person just said to me "that if I wanted my tablet to work then buy the global plan" and then she hangs up on me! When I get home 2 weeks later and I file a complaint with Verizon cellular, I was told that they could not give a refund because they "weren't witnessed to what was said". I have been with Verizon since before they were verizon and this is how they repay my loyalty. I was never able to use the 8 gigs of data, they basically called me a lier.

Pa Greentree Store is Joke

I walked into the store to possibly set up a corporate plan. The young college aged sales persons had no idea ( very uneducated ) about the cell phone capabilities or even the fine print of the contracts. they kept trying to push cell phones on me that did not have the capabilities I was looking for. When I asked if I could take a contract home to better read the fine print for a better review they said they could not do so. The kids have no idea what they are doing and it is obvious the are only out to make a quick sale to get a small meager pay check. It even appeared as though the " manager" at the time was under the influence of some narcotic. He was very sweaty and rubbing his face profusely. I would recommend staying away from this store at all costs.

Horrible sales experience

I can't go into details because it is way too long and involved, but the experience I had with Cellular Sales (which I thought all along was actually Verizon because their signage makes you think that) was absolutely the worst sales experience I have ever had. Fast-talking salesperson (though the sales experience took pretty close to 2 hours) got me out of the store with a phone I didn't really want or need and never addressed the original problem I entered the store with. I'll never deal with Cellular Sales again and probably will be switching from Verizon also.

They only get paid if they sell you something. They get a draw plus commission.

If they don't make enough in commission to cover the draw, discipline is taken. No actual hourly wage.

Produce numbers or perish seems to be the mantra at this company. Lots of turn over and a lot of stress
